On September 26, 2018, for the first time ever, the UN General Assembly is holding a High-Level Meeting to commit to the strategies needed to end TB. This is a pivotal moment for TB that requires the highest commitment and leadership. Canada has taken important steps to respond to TB at home, and needs to step up and be a global leader in committing to improving TB diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
That’s why we are calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to take the lead at the High Level Meeting on TB to commit to bringing an end to this global epidemic.
